How to use

This tool belongs to the “Overview” category.

  1. 1Opening /nettools/ starts the detection: local IP, location, provider, IPv6 and line quality on one screen.
  2. 2For detail, follow the matching tool - egress lines in "Egress IP groups", latency and jitter in "Global ping".
  3. 3Every value is labelled with its source and confidence, so read the ones several sources agree on first.

Device and browser checks run on your machine. Domain and IP lookups are fetched by this site from public feeds, and each query string is kept as one public record.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I see an egress IP instead of my LAN address?

Detection reports the address this connection presents once it leaves your network. Behind a router or NAT that is exactly the egress address.

The IPv6 field is empty. Is something wrong?

It means this network has no usable public IPv6, or the probe took the IPv4 path. Retry on another network, or after your provider enables it.

The location looks wrong.

Geo databases are maintained by third parties and lag behind provider changes. Compare the sources side by side - each result here shows its confidence.
