About Site Toolbox

An independent developer who builds tool sites with AI-assisted coding, documenting what I learn about shipping sites to a global audience.

Site Toolbox collects the small jobs that come back to you week after week as a developer or in an office: pretty-printing a blob of JSON, working out a subnet mask, turning an image into Base64, checking a domain’s Whois record, adding page numbers to a PDF. Doing those separately usually means bouncing between five different sites and their registration walls, so they live together here behind one interface and one URL scheme.

The site has three parts. The main area is 162 text, encoding, formatting, conversion and reference tools — most of them finish entirely inside your browser, so your input never leaves the machine. The PDF Toolbox handles merging, splitting, compressing, watermarking and image conversion; your file is processed over your own connection and discarded afterwards. The Network tools cover IP geolocation, DNS, ping, connectivity and security-header checks, which are measured from the node the site runs on, and every page says so.

The rules of the place are simple: open it and use it, then leave. No registration, no phone number, no e-mail harvesting, no usage quota, and nothing you produce is stored in a database. Where a tool needs third-party data (the IP geo database, public filing lookups) the source is named, and corrections are welcome.

If a tool saved you time, or if a result looks wrong to you, tell me through the contact page — stale IP databases and incorrect regex examples are the kind of thing only users can surface.
