How to use

  1. 1The index page "Local IP overview" needs no input: it reports your current IPv4 and IPv6, location, provider and line quality.
  2. 2To check something else, switch tools from the top navigation - connectivity and routing, AI checks, service status and browser checks are separate groups.
  3. 3Turn on "Hide IP" in the header before you screenshot anything; it masks your own address in the results.

Device and browser checks run on your machine. Domain and IP lookups are fetched by this site from public feeds, and each query string is kept as one public record.

Frequently asked questions

Other sites give a different answer. Who is right?

Location and routing data come from third-party public feeds and they disagree. This site shows the usable sources side by side, so trust whichever answer most of them agree on.

Will running these checks affect my connection?

No. Only the connectivity checks and global ping send probe traffic; everything else reads information the browser already has or queries public endpoints.

Are my queries logged?

Domain and IP lookups are proxied by this site, and the query string is kept as one public record you can see on the "Diagnostics" page. It carries no cookies and no account data.
